The Early Learning Academy at St. Kevin School educates the whole child using flexibility, innovation, and imagination. Academic excellence is provided in a nurturing, diverse, and supportive environment.A multi-disciplinary approach involving visual, kinesthetic, and auditory experiences is used to enhance student learning and to allow for individual differences in processing information.
The Early Learning Academy at St. Kevin School provides classrooms for 3-year-old and 4-year-old Pre-Kindergarten programs, Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2.
Pre-K 3 & 4 Curriculum 2023/2024
- Curriculum is based on and aligned with the Rhode Island Early Learning Standards
- Emphasis is on hands-on learning through play
- Phonemic Awareness Curriculum, including an introduction to:

- Religion: Christian values are intertwined throughout our day (daily prayer, grace before meals, age-appropriate Bible stories, attending monthly school Mass)
